A good friend and colleague stated on a call sometime ago that when you get involved in Network Marketing you have two directions for your MLM success strategy you can either create a list of names of people to call from those you know or you can pay for MLM advertising - a list of names from a leads vendor. One of the most common things I have found to occur when schooling people to do marketing is to get them over feeling uncomfortable about presenting their business venture to the folks they know. It would appear for most, that it is far simpler to sell something to a stranger than it is to a person you care about. I have heard people say again and again well before I market it to my acquaintances I first of all have to believe in it. These same people are often willing to spend $200.00 or $300 per month buying MLM home based business leads. You probably know buying MLM home based business leads is not easily duplicated in Canada Goose Chilliwack building a network marketing team. The Reason It is So Difficult Is for the reason that:* New representative require persuasion skills* Professional Training Can Be Costly* Buying MLM Leads Can Quickly Drain One's Bank Account* Your Team Has To Duplicate You - Ask Yourself - Are You Duplicateable?* Rejection On the Phone For Many New People Can Be Too Much TO Cope WithYou in all probability know that the best part of MLM home based business leads giving you their contact info to find out about home based business ventures tend to be very skeptical and unwilling to invest in a business. Even though network marketing tends to be looked at with such doubt 63 million people in the United States are at this time involved in a mlm. What if there was a way that you could have unlimited MLM home based business leads to chat to that believed strongly in the merit of having an MLM business. Imagine what it would be like if you went into your office every day at your home and answered calls from people wanting you to help them build a successful business.Wouldn't it be amazing if your team did not have to struggle with the economic weight of having to buy that mlm network marketing lead. See in your mind's eye how much more fun your business would be if you didn't have to dial leads and receive all that rejection every day. I've got huge news that I want to reveal with you. 'Live!' producer Gelman: Moving forward day by day (AP)

NEW YORK ? You can't hurry love. Nor, according to Michael Gelman, can you hurry up selecting a TV co-host.

A couple of months after 80-year-old Regis Philbin exited "Live! With Regis and Kelly" and took his name in the title along with him, Kelly Ripa has been welcoming a succession of fill-in co-hosts. A number of them ? no one's saying just who ? are auditioning on-the-air to land the job for keeps.

It's a process that Gelman, the show's executive producer, calls dating, and, as fans wait for the show to pop the question weeks or months from now, "Live!" is sowing its wild oats. ("Live! With Kelly," which airs in syndication weekdays at 9 a.m. EST in many markets, this week will feature guest co-hosts Daniel Radcliffe, Howie Mandel, Peter Facinelli and D.L. Hughley).

"We've just scratched the surface of people out there," Gelman says, adding, "We have enjoyed a lot of people who have already co-hosted, and we're bringing a bunch of them back for more `dates.'"

That first batch of callbacks will include Jerry O'Connell, Dana Carvey, Seth Meyers and Michael Strahan.

"But I'm not saying there's a short list," insists Gelman. "Every day we come up with new ideas, and we get new revelations about who the new host should or shouldn't be. The chemistry is key ? and not just with Kelly, but with the audience and the staff and the format."

In other words: Don't bother even asking how much longer these tryouts will take.

"I've been through it from the other side," noted Ripa, a party to the monthslong dating whirl a dozen years ago, during a phone interview. "I sort of understand how it works, and what it is they're looking for, and how this process can't be rushed."

In particular, the new hire must click with Ripa in the host chat, the morning set-piece where the co-hosts talk about what's going on out in the world and in their personal lives. It's deceptively skilled performance art, an impromptu signature of the show.

"This format, a sort of faux-husband and wife who sit down and chat, lets viewers vicariously experience the co-hosts' pains and pleasures," Gelman says. "The early-morning news shows have borrowed heavily from our success, and reality shows have taken a cue from how Regis would come on and just talk about his life.

"In some ways, it really was at the cutting edge of what a lot of television is now. I think the show broke ground with it, and continues to."

For this interview, Gelman is in his office, a pleasant jumble of show-related curios including a small desktop gong that long ago must have served as an on-the-air prop (though no one can remember how), with which he placidly summons staffers to meetings. His space is further appointed by grids of color-coded cards pinned to the wall inscribed with names of future guests, one of whom may end up taking up residence here at the show's Upper West Side Manhattan headquarters.

Since Philbin left, "it's been different, it's been sad," says Gelman. "But it's also been an exciting time. I think Kelly is enjoying `dating,' and so is the audience: Our numbers are trending higher than last year." (Five of the first seven "Kelly-only" weeks saw household audiences match or beat the same week a year earlier, and for the 2011-12 season to date, "Live!" viewership is averaging 3.7 million viewers daily, compared to 3.3 million viewers the season before.)

In Philbin's absence, Gelman, still boyish at age 50, has emerged as the grand old man of "Live!" He is the constant, the keeper of the flame. His tenure as executive producer reaches back a quarter-century, when the show was still a local New York telecast, not the nationally syndicated juggernaut it became after being rebranded "Live! With Regis & Kathie Lee."

Along the way, Philbin bagged the record for most hours spent in front of a TV camera (15,662, as certified by Guinness World Records back in 2006). But Gelman likely has his own claim to longevity.

"I may be the world record holder for the most hours of live television produced ? particularly for one show," he says. "And if I haven't broken the record, hopefully I will."

As he speaks, it's late morning. Another hour of "Live!" is under his belt, and now "the REAL work day begins," he says with a laugh. Meetings, bookings, planning, and, yes, thinking about a new co-host ? all that will consume him until 7 p.m. or thereabouts, when he heads home to his wife, TV personality Laurie Hibberd, and their two daughters. He had arrived at the office around 7 a.m. for rehearsals and briefings until, at the stroke of 9 a.m., "Live!" hit the air.

Gelman is a master of multitasking, especially the hour when the show is being broadcast. He stands just out of camera range (where he won unsought celebrity as "Gelman," the genial foil often called out by Philbin), while "a million things are going through my mind ? what I need to do, what's coming up later, what could go wrong," he says. "And at the same time, I'm warming up and prompting the studio audience."

Some of these duties, he says, have become automatic.

"Sometimes I'll be at a Broadway show or other live performance," he confides, "and when people start applauding and I want them to applaud more, I all of sudden do this" ? he raises a hand and feathers his fingers imploringly ? "before I catch myself. Very embarrassing."

Gelman has grown up on the job. He began as a freelance production assistant for what was then "The Morning Show." Then, when he became executive producer in 1987, he was somewhat of a surrogate son to the middle-age Philbin, a TV journeyman on the brink of a career renaissance. When Philbin left a quarter-century later, Gelman, still the steady steward of the show, was nearly as old as Philbin had been when the show began.

"Over the years, I've kind of backed away from behind-the-scenes things," Philbin said last fall as he prepared to leave. "Gelman rings a little gong, and everybody comes and they sit there for HOURS! I don't know WHAT the HELL they're TALKING about! But that's what an executive producer is supposed to do, I guess, and I think he's done a good job."

"Because he's so good at what he does, it goes unrecognized," Ripa said recently. "He's very calm, very even, and we move forward. Always. We're always looking to tomorrow. We do our live show, then we let it go, and then we move on to tomorrow's show. And he makes it look easy."

Gelman is ready to savor continued success for "Live!" He says he's signed another long-term deal, "and I plan on being here for a while.

"The show has a life of its own," he sums up, making it look easy, and knows it's time to move forward now. Tomorrow's show requires his attention.

Dems: Fast & Furious just 1 of 4 misguided probes (AP)

WASHINGTON ? Democrats looking into Operation Fast and Furious say a yearlong investigation has turned up no evidence that the flawed gun smuggling probe was conceived or directed by high-level political appointees at Justice Department headquarters.

The probe, the Democrats say, was just one of four such operations that were part of a misguided five-year-long effort, during both the George W. Bush and Obama administrations, in the Phoenix division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives against firearms trafficking along the Southwest border.

"Operation Fast and Furious was the latest in a series of fatally flawed operations run by ATF agents in Phoenix and the Arizona U.S. Attorney's Office," the report from Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee says.

It is expected to differ sharply with the conclusions of Republicans, who will question Attorney General Eric Holder about Operation Fast and Furious at a hearing Thursday before the committee.

Beginning six years ago, according to the Democrats' report, ATF agents in Phoenix devised a strategy to forgo arrests against low-level straw purchasers of guns while attempting to build bigger cases against higher-level traffickers, a risky tactic known as gun-walking.

"The committee has obtained no evidence indicating that the attorney general authorized gun-walking or that he was aware of such allegations before they became public," said the Democrats' report, "Fatally Flawed: Five Years of Gunwalking in Arizona." "None of the 22 witnesses interviewed by the committee claims to have spoken with the attorney general about the specific tactics employed in Operation Fast and Furious prior to the public controversy."

Rather than halting operations after flaws became evident, the ATF's Phoenix division "launched several similarly reckless operations over the course of several years, also with tragic results," the report said. "Each investigation involved various incarnations of the same activity: Agents were contemporaneously aware of illegal firearms purchases, they did not typically interdict weapons or arrest straw purchasers, and firearms ended up in the hands of criminals on both sides of the border."

Operation Fast and Furious came to light following the December 2010 slaying of U.S. border agent Brian Terry near Nogales, Ariz. Two guns connected to suspects in the Fast and Furious investigation were found at the Terry murder scene.

Operation Fast and Furious was the fourth such ATF gun-walking probe, according to the Democrats' report, which was based on documents collected by the committee.

The first gun-walking probe, said the report, was Operation Wide Receiver, in which ATF agents, for over a year starting in 2006, watched traffickers buying guns from a gun dealer and driving them across the border into Mexico. According to a memo by William Newell, who was in charge of the Phoenix division at the time, one of the suspects told the gun dealer that the "firearms are going to his boss in Tijuana, Mexico, where some are given out as gifts." ATF officials believed they had sufficient evidence to arrest and charge the suspects, but as one agent said at the time, "we want it all," according to an email between two ATF supervisors in Arizona.

A year after Wide Receiver began, ATF initiated attempts to coordinate with Mexican officials. Numerous attempts at cross-border interdiction failed, according to the Democrats' report, with ATF agents expressing concern over the operation.

In a 2007 case, ATF agents targeted Fidel Hernandez and several alleged co-conspirators who purchased over 200 firearms and were believed to be transporting them into Mexico.

William Hoover, then ATF's assistant director of field operations, temporarily halted operations after being informed of several attempts at coordinating with Mexican law enforcement authorities.

The defendants were brought to trial in 2009, but acquitted after prosecutors were unable to obtain the cooperation of the Mexican law enforcement officials who had recovered firearms purchased by Hernandez.

In a 2008 case, ATF agents in Phoenix focused for a year on a network of illicit gun buyers who were purchasing weapons from the same gun dealer who had cooperated in Operation Wide Receiver.

Members of the network, led by Alejandro Medrano, were eventually sentenced to multiyear prison terms for trafficking more than 100 firearms to a Mexican drug cartel.

In Operation Fast and Furious, ATF agents in Phoenix late in 2009 identified a network of more than 20 straw purchasers believed to be trafficking military-grade assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels. Agents tried to build a case with wiretaps. They made no arrests and made few intercepts of weapons.

ATF Deputy Director William Hoover became concerned about the number of firearms involved in the case and ordered a strategy for the investigation to be brought to an end. Newell in Phoenix expressed frustration with ATF headquarters in Washington and "the operation continued to grow and expand rather than wind down over the months to follow," the Democrats' report said.

Trying to read between the lines of the Fed rate message (Reuters)

NEW YORK (Reuters) ? For a central bank that wants to make transparency its hallmark, the Federal Reserve's new forecast of nearly three more years of super-low rates has left room for a few doubts.

The Fed surprised markets last Wednesday when it extended its previous forecast for keeping its key interest rate "exceptionally low" until at least late 2014, more than a year longer than its previous guidance.

Ninety minutes later, the U.S. central bank published charts showing that more than a third of its policymakers expected a rate rise before 2014, whiplashing bond markets.

The difference in tone between the dovish statement of the Fed's policy-setting committee and the somewhat more hawkish-looking projections of its 17 individual members, has left some economists unsure as to when the Fed will start to reverse its historic, all-out support of the U.S. economy.

Some are re-examining the Fed's choice of language and questioning whether the term "exceptionally low" really means the current level of the Fed funds rate of zero to 0.25 percent.

Others are asking what the phrase "late 2014" means more precisely as they try to decipher the nuances of a central bank that is taking bold steps to support the economic recovery while at the same time stressing transparency into its inner workings.

"You can't possibly know with any degree of confidence what will unfold given this degree of uncertainty," said Michael Moran, chief economist at Daiwa Capital Markets, in New York, referring to the wide range of views on where rates are headed. "You just have to keep an open mind on monetary policy."

The Fed has kept short-term rates below 0.25 percent for more than three years already and purchased some $2.3 trillion in long-term securities to help the U.S. economy claw its way back from a brutal recession.

With the recovery still fragile and at risk from fallout from Europe's crisis, the Fed is running out of tools and has turned to making statements about its intentions over the coming years in the hope of assuring skittish markets that it is committed to sticking with its super-loose monetary policy.

That could keep longer-term rates low in the open market. Low rates usually encourage economic activity and boost hiring.

This delicate management of expectations is playing out just as Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke is shining a light on what in the past were the central bank's opaque internal deliberations.

The first-ever release last week of projections by Fed policymakers of where they expect interest rates to be over the next few years revealed a remarkably wide range of views.

Three officials expected a rate rise as soon as this year. Two others did not see that happening until 2016.

FOMC statement from Jan 24-25 meeting: FED/FOMC

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^>

CONFUSION

In an early sign of confusion, yields on 10-year Treasuries dropped after the Fed's late-2014 comment on Wednesday and fell to as low as 1.92 percent. They bounced back to 2 percent after the rate projections were revealed.

Asked for clarity by reporters, Bernanke made it clear that the statement from the Federal Open Market Committee, which sets rates and currently has 10 voting members, prevailed over the 17 individual projections.

"The FOMC will always, in some sense, trump the projections of forward interest rates," he said.

But Charles Plosser, president of the Philadelphia Fed and among the most hawkish of the Fed's top officials, acknowledged on Monday that the FOMC's statement was "not as clear as it could have been."

Having low rates until late 2014 is "conditional on the evolution of the economy. I think that we don't make that clear enough," Plosser told CNBC television.

"A lot of people have been reading the statement as if it was a commitment and it is not a commitment."

ALL EYES ON 2014

Plosser, who has focused more on keeping a lid on inflation than lowering the 8.5-percent U.S. unemployment rate, confirmed that he was one of the three officials forecasting a rate rise this year. He is among those skeptical of the Fed's ultra-easy policy and its talk of standing pat for some time to come.

Six of the FOMC's 17 policymakers saw rates rising to between 0.25 percent and 2 percent by the end of 2013. By the end of 2014 they were joined by a further five who expected increases in borrowing costs and as a group they saw rates between 0.25 and 2.75 percent, with a median of 0.75 percent.

The other six projected no change until after 2014.

Adding to intrigue over the path ahead for rates, Plosser, fellow hawk Richard Fisher of Dallas, and Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota, a moderate hawk, all regain positions on the FOMC in the critical year of 2014.

Bernanke, along with vice chair Janet Yellen and William Dudley, the influential head of the New York Fed, has steered the Fed's policy moves. But the chairman's current term expires in early 2014, adding to the uncertainty on the horizon.

Since August, when Bernanke clearly implied in a speech that "exceptionally low" rates meant zero to 0.25 percent, Wall Street has run with that assumption.

Now some economists are reading between the lines.

"There are different definitions of 'exceptionally low' levels of the federal funds rate. Perhaps one could think of any rate below 1 percent as exceptionally low," said Thomas Simons, money market economist at Jefferies & Co, who co-published a note to clients on the topic.

"What is your definition of late 2014? Maybe it's September," Simons said.

Accordingly, futures traders are hedging their bets over what the Fed will actually do.

According to rates contracts at exchange operator CME Group Inc, traders are pricing in a 48 percent chance that the first rate hike will occur in June, 2014. There is a 62 percent chance that it comes in July, 2014.

Economists at FTN Financial argued the Fed's statement was intended to reinforce the primacy of the FOMC over the broader group. "The unspoken message is that there are enough voting members at or near zero to keep rates unchanged even if others at the Fed disagree," they wrote last week in a note to clients.
